We're really not ready for visitors yet. But since you found your way here, let us take a minute and tell you what our site is all about.

The "brookfield" in our site's name is Brookfield, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, located about 12 miles west of the Loop. The "everything" part? Just what it implies, although at this time it describes more the scope of what this site intends to cover rather than it what it has to offer.

You are welcome to watch as our build-out progresses. Things will be added frequently. The most ambitious section we've tackled so far is a comprehensive list of places to eat in the area. We've compiled more than 200. You can search them by name, by cuisine, or by keywords—even see pictures.

Work is progressing on other sections as well. You can find them by running your mouse over the links to the left. If a link lights up yellow, it's live; if it goes red, it's not yet ready for viewing.
